Texas Rock Climbing is the official climbing team at UT Austin, representing UT in the Collegiate Climbing Series, the national governing body for competitive collegiate climbing. We offer opportunities for people both new to climbing and to seasoned climbers to meet new people and to become a part of Austin's vibrant and growing climbing community. TRC hosts numerous social events throughout the year as well as volunteer opportunities that are open to every member!
For Spring 2024, we are holding in-person practices every weekday 8pm-10pm at Austin Bouldering Project - Springdale! For recreational members, practice attendance is optional and members are free to participate in training with the competitive team.
Anyone can join Texas Rock Climbing at any point throughout the semester! We will be holding tryouts for out competitive team TBA.
