The University Leadership Network (ULN) is a nationally recognized incentive-based scholarship program for students with demonstrated financial need. Each year, 500 freshmen are selected to begin the program. ULN includes a comprehensive four-year plan that involves leadership training, experiential learning opportunities, and university service. The ULN program helps students to develop academic and leadership skills consistent with graduating in four years. ULN Mission To encourage and support students to graduate in four years and become leaders through professional and experiential learning opportunities that advance their education, communities, and lives. Scholarship
ULN students receive up to a $20,000 scholarship ($5,000/year) based on participation in the program's comprehensive four-year components. Students receive the scholarship money in monthly installments during the fall and spring semesters. This scholarship is in addition to any other grants or scholarships a student might receive. Experiential Learning
Developing marketable skills through experiential learning is a key element of the ULN program. The ULN model ensures that all second- through fourth-year students complete 10 hours of experiential learning per week as a part of their scholarship requirement.
