The Academic Achievement Program (AAP) promotes, facilitates, and advocates for a welcoming campus community by centering the experiences of Black, Latine, and Indigenous students. AAP provides a family atmosphere where students can make lasting friendships, seek refuge from classes and daily stresses, and push their limits to achieve their potential in all aspects of their academic journey at NYU.Additionally, AAP serves as a platform for personal growth and support. Our curriculum is designed to cultivate leadership skills through engaging workshops, experiential learning, and community service activities. We offer numerous opportunities for students to broaden their horizons and learn not only about leadership but also about culture, interpersonal connections, and self-discovery.
