The American Medical Women's Association is an organization which functions at the local, national, and international level to advance women in medicine and improve women's health. We achieve this by providing and developing leadership, advocacy, education, expertise, mentoring, and strategic alliances. At the medical school level, we sponsor mentoring luncheons and dinners on topics in women's health. We also try to build a sense of community among women in medicine at NYU by providing a supportive atmosphere. NOTE: This club is for students enrolled at NYU Grossman School of Medicine only.
