ASL Club is dedicated to Deaf culture and American Sign Language. We act as support for anyone in the ASL classes and for those interested in American Sign Language but have not yet been immersed. During our meetings we talk about important deaf individuals, play games involving sign language, discuss controversial issues within Deaf Culture, and organize events that expose our members to an in-depth signing/cultural experience. ASL Club at NYU is a place where anyone from the novice to the expert can come to improve their signing skills. We play games, have discussions, and learn from each other all in a non-pressure environment. Our meetings are voices-off!
