We are an NYU student collective working to promote animal welfare and rights who believe that every sentient being deserves a life free from violence.
Through speaker events, music and food festivals, activism, and volunteering we engage students on different topics regarding animal rights and welfare. Our approach unites artists, activists, and academics, recognizing that these are not rigid or mutually exclusive categories. We foster a collaborative and inclusive environment and have something for everyone: we support a variety of approaches to the work, from welfare oriented harm-reduction to rights oriented radical activism.
We have a wonderful community of humans and nonhumans who are available to provide guidance on how to live a life free of cruelty and are excited to meet you :)
