Our mission is to advance the practice of Biomimetic dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry by promoting conservative and minimally invasive dental techniques among students and faculty. Biomimetic dentistry is a branch of restorative dentistry that uses treatments to maintain and save the natural tooth structure using materials that mimic the natural teeth. We are creating the Biomimetic Society at NYU College Of Dentistry to serve as a platform to deepen the understanding of biomimetic principles and techniques, bring students who share a common interest together, pool resources and expertise together, explore innovative solutions to dental challenges, and raise awareness about minimally invasive dentistry in the college. The Biomimetic Society would provide students with valuable educational and professional opportunities while making a positive impact on the college community and the field of dentistry. Through lectures, literature reviews, hands-on sessions, and case presentations, our club wants to provide high-quality Knowledge patient care with a modern approach to dentistry, to promote research and education in this field, and foster collaboration among dental professionals to improve oral health outcomes and patient satisfaction. Our club would focus on discussing and promoting the use of adhesive chemistry to return teeth to original strain harmony.
