The Black Student Health Association's (BSHA) mission is to:
To provide guidance to Black students interested in pursuing health careers, which includes medical education, allied health fields, and health sciences.
To provide opportunities for students at NYU to support and aid the Black community in a health-related fashion.
To provide a setting for the dissemination of information to educate and help Black students be successful in the pursuit of these health-related fields.
To provide counseling, mentorship, and advising to Black students interested in pursuing health-related careers.
To serve as a liaison between this organization and other organizations with alike missions.
All other appropriate actions that the organization deems necessary in order to implement its mission and objectives.
