Indonesian Students Association at New York University (henceforth shall be referred to as ISA or NYU Indonesia) NYU Indonesia shall serve as a focal point for all students, as well as other community members of the New York University who are interested in the culture and general affairs of Indonesia. With the objectives of fostering a solid Indonesian community and promulgating the presence of Indonesian culture throughout New York University, ISA shall herein organize activities that are geared toward fulfilling these objectives. ISA shall act as the primary contact and point of reference for the New York University community and external organizations. Uniting Cultures: Promoting Indonesian Cultures and Joining International Events by Dance, Movie, Music, Food and Art Empowering Futures: Providing Supports and Opportunities by Seminar, Training, Self Development, Admission Mentorship, and Sharing Session. Collaborative, International, and Bold: Community Engagement by many activities such as Welcoming Picnic, Indonesian Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and End Year Dinner, New Year Celebration, Welcoming Ramadan, Iftar, Halal Bihalal, Birthday Celebration, Indonesian Batik Day, Sport Day: Badminton, Swimming, Dance, Golf, Gym, Graduation Celebration, Instagram Take Over, Student Highlight, Instagram Live, and Potluck Housewarming.
We are currently not only focused on developing our internal members but also committed to expanding our network and making significant contributions to the community both in NYC and Indonesia. We aim to explore our current potential and intend to provide programs that can enhance our members' capacities as preparation for their professional careers.
