La Unidad Latina, Lambda Upsilon Lambda Fraternity Incorporated primarily seeks to take a leadership role in meeting the needs of the Latino community through academic achievement, cultural awareness, brotherhood, community service, and promotion of the Latino culture.
Since the Spring of 1994, the Omicron Chapter at New York University has coordinated and executed cultural events and service initiatives seeking to address the plight of Latinos within the New York City community while also promoting academic and professional development for students of color. Our Hermanos have taken key leadership roles on campus and have won the very distinguished NYU 'Presidents' award for leadership & programming, an award given to us on four different occasions.
