Social Justice
The Latinx Social Work Student Organization (LSWSO) welcomes and supports all students attending NYU Silver School of Social Work and aims to build community among Latinx students. LSWSO helps students expand their understanding of current health and social welfare issues facing the Latinx population. The group fosters cultural competence by deepening our own self-knowledge and works towards increasing our school’s effectiveness in providing services to this diverse and multifaceted community.
