The NYU LGBTQ+ Clinical Club seeks to create a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and their allies. The purpose of the LGBTQ+ Clinical Club is to support and cater to the unique, currently sidelined needs of undergraduate and graduate students in Communicative Sciences and Disorders (CSD) that identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or allies through the following: fostering community dialogue and engagement to increase awareness, create shared resources for LGBTQ+ clinician students, and hosting educational events related to our field.
