The LS Law Co-op provides its members the opportunity to discuss the role of law in society, including various topics, from immigration to corporate law and from racial justice to the death penalty, as well as the practice of law, including criminal and civil trials and international courts. Each year we sponsor special meetings on how to get into law school and what to do when you get there as well as visits to federal court in NYC to experience law in a real-life setting. Note, however, that you don't have to plan to become a lawyer to become a member of the Law Co-op. The Law Co-op plans to hold a law conference in the spring on a subject chosen by its members. Past conferences addressed such themes as immigration and “Trump's America.” We would love to answer any questions you may have.
