Political & Advocacy
This club is focused on education and activism. We focus on facilitating education through hosting events with speakers in key political fields, sending out newsletters with information about political and current events, and hosting debates and extended education based events (such as the Ted talk event we are currently working on). We’ll be focusing on activism through promoting engagement in social movements, sending out a newsletter containing information about civil justice movements, marches and petitions, partnering with POC-owned, woman-owned, and LGBT-owned organizations and businesses, and partnering with other social and civic organizations to host events and contribute to the causes. We work in all areas and fields relating to politics, including civil justice, environmental affairs, economics, law, healthcare, anything that relates!
