We are The Mixtapes, a high-energy co-ed a cappella group at NYU! As our name suggests, we perform a variety of pop, funk, rock (nostalgic and modern), and r&b music; songs you might put on a mixtape for your friends! We take pride in intricately arranging all of our own music. Our love for performing the songs themselves and for each other comes through every time we take the stage. We've competed at the ICCA only five times and have won two quarterfinals, received special awards for outstanding arrangements and choreography, and have proceeded to compete at semifinals three times.
