NYDM is NYU's biggest student-run philanthropy. It is a year-long effort to raise awareness and funds to help fight childhood cancer. Every Spring, this effort culminates in a 6-hour dance marathon. The funds support The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation, which provides financial and emotional assistance to affected families, and funds research initiated with the primary goal of alleviating the secondary pains of childhood cancer.
