New York Masti, a female South Asian a capella group, aims to bring and integrate the diversity of Indian culture into American culture, among other cultures around the world through music. It aims to grow the community by increasing exposure and awareness of the Indian community at NYU through performances, events, and practices. NY Masti's goal is to bring different genres, methods, and languages of music together around which to build a strong community of musicians and appreciators of music.
