The South Asian Medical Student Association is a student group that celebrates and creates community around the diverse South Asian culture at NYUGSOM. We seek to provide spaces to share South Asian experiences, host events regarding how South Asian culture intersects with medicine and public health, and act in solidarity with other marginalized communities in NYC.
