Our organization recognizes and celebrates the cultural traditions of South Asian students. Our purpose is to spread and educate others on South Asian cultures, and to provide academic support to our members. The members of this organization will consist primarily of DDS/PG/DH students interested in learning about South Asian cultures and celebrating South Asian holidays and festivals. Geographically, South Asia comprises of eight countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. However, this club is open to any individual, regardless of their heritage, wanting to participate in South Asian activities or learn more about South Asian cultures. SASDA does not discriminate against any individual who wishes to participate regardless of race, gender, religion, age, or nationality.
