South Asian Students Association (SHRUTI) - All-University
International & Multicultural
NYU SHRUTI was established in 1993 as a means to serve the growing South Asian population at New York University in New York City. Since then, the association has grown beyond imagination. With over 600 participating members, an average of 4 major events hosted a year, and a nationwide presence among other South Asian organizations, festivals, and charities, NYU SHRUTI has become a phenomenon. Dedicated to promoting cultural awareness, activism, and unity among the South Asian community at New York University, SHRUTI makes a sincere effort to work hand in hand with both Asian and Non-Asian organizations to encourage diversity and advance communication among disparate groups.
