Steinhardt Black Society (SBS) creates a safe space and comfortable environment for Black Undergraduate and Graduate students, their community and their allies to build community within Steinhardt. Furthermore, we wish to affect change within our community by working with other members of the greater NYU community. This association will not only brings us together, but also bring awareness to the accomplishments and injustices affecting the Black community. Overall, we ensure and encourage this dialogue through socials, community service, professional development opportunities, speakers series, and a variety of other events.
