Tisch Undergraduate Student Council, or TUSC, is the student governing body for the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. The Executive Board is made up of eight elected officers and one appointed position, the Freshmen Representative. Keeping our thumbs on the pulse of Tisch, we make decisions and serve as the students’ voice to the administration, faculty, and University Senate. TUSC is also responsible for allocating money to Tisch clubs, planning Freshman Orientation Week, running a number of events for students throughout the year, and sending a team to the All-University Games in February. Furthermore, over the past couple of years, we have worked hard to expand our advocacy role in the school through Town Hall Meetings that address issues and concerns raised by Tisch students. We regularly review proposals for emerging clubs and new events in an effort to contribute to an evolving, growing Tisch community.
