The Urology Interest Group functions to expose students to a fascinating and important field that receives very little coverage in the medical school curriculum. Past events include faculty meet and greets and dinner lectures on reconstructive urology, bladder cancer, and other urologic subspecialties. Once a semester, we organize a surgical skills lab with urology residents so that students can learn about laparoscopic techniques.
