The Young at Heart Club intends to ignite interest in Geriatrics in the student community at NYU as well as interact with and care for the older adults in the New York Area. We aim to have a variety of educational events built around learning to care for older adults. Also, our group has a commitment to assisting the older adult population, through education and interpersonal interaction. We intend to foster a spirit of enthusiasm and compassion in our students who will be caring for this expanding population of patients in our health care system.
